ETCHINGS
Etching is an intaglio printmaking process in which lines or areas are incised using acid into a metal plate, and then printed using an etching press to transfer the image to the paper. Read more on The Met website.
Here is a series of etchings made on copper plates and printed with chine colle (the addition of coloured paper), roll up (the addition of coloured ink).
