MONOPRINTS

The monoprint is a form of printmaking where the image is painted on a glass or metal surface and printed onto the paper. As suggested by the name, a monoprint can only be made once, unlike most printmaking which allow for multiples or editions.  The beauty of monoprinting lies in its spontaneity and its allowance for combinations of printmaking, painting and drawing media* Read more on the Tate Modern website.

Here are some monoprints of houses from around my neighbourhood in 2020 created during lock down, and some earlier monoprints made with stencils of buildings in Fitzroy.

My prints are available for purchase framed or unframed. Please have a look in my Shop for unframed prints, or get in contact.
