RELIEF PRINTS

 

A general term for printmaking techniques where the printing surface is cut away so that the image alone appears raised on the surface. The plate is then inked up and any areas that have been cut away do not print. Read more on the MOMA website.​

Here are a series of prints made from 2004 onwards. These include monoprints (hand coloured single prints) and multiple colour plate prints.
